Grown on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda, this distinctive natural-process coffee brings together vibrant fruit character, creamy sweetness and delicate floral complexity. Cultivated at altitudes ranging from 1,400 to 2,300 metres above sea level, the coffee benefits from the region’s varied elevations and favourable growing conditions.

Produced through The Coffee Gardens project, this lot combines the varieties Nyasaland, SL14 and SL28. Established in 2017, The Coffee Gardens works with local farming communities to improve livelihoods, create rural employment and promote sustainable agricultural practices while strengthening transparency and traceability throughout the coffee supply chain.

Processed using the natural method, the coffee cherries are dried with the fruit intact, allowing the beans to develop a pronounced sweetness and expressive fruit character. Expect juicy strawberry and raspberry notes, bright orange, and a smooth, creamy body balanced by milk chocolate sweetness and a delicate black tea finish.

A vibrant and approachable Ugandan coffee, combining ripe berry flavours with citrus brightness and a rounded, chocolatey sweetness.
